02 HPL Competitive Advantages

🔑 Source Code Ownership

Unlike all competitors (Fluent Grid, Esyasoft, BCITS, Genus Power, Secure Meters) who license their MDM, HPL owns the platform outright. No recurring license fees, full IP ownership, freedom to modify and enhance independently.

🔧 Multi-HES Adapter Framework

Built with configurable OBIS code mapping per HES vendor. Each tender has ~3 vendors - our framework normalizes data from all sources into unified MDM format.

🛠 Integrated WFM (7-Stage Lifecycle)

WFM integrated into MDM (not separate module). 7-stage lifecycle: Site Survey → Installation → Commissioning → Active Ops → Maintenance → Replacement → Decommissioning. Procurement/Warehouse handled by HPL SAP.

📅 6-Month Delivery + 3-Month Hypercare

Compressed timeline per RDSS constraints. Complete platform delivery in 6 months with 3 months hypercare support. Fixed cost turnkey engagement.

🏆 Rev 5 Updates (Based on March 24 Discussion)

Following HPL's feedback, we have aligned Phase 1 scope and timeline:

PHASE 1 SCOPE (6 MONTHS):

  • Integrated WFM - 7-stage meter lifecycle (Procurement/Warehouse via SAP)
  • Energy Audit Module - AT&C at DT/feeder level
  • 3 Mobile Apps - Consumer, O&M, Utility
  • Custom Report Builder - Tabular reports with saved configs
  • Multi-Language Support - Hindi and regional languages
  • CRM Integration Ready - API ready for DISCOM CRM
  • 3-Month Hypercare - Post go-live support

KEY DECISIONS (MAR 24):

  • WFM integrated into MDM - Not a separate module
  • Timeline: 6 months - Per RDSS constraint
  • Procurement/Warehouse - Handled by HPL SAP
  • Multi-HES Adapter Framework - Per-vendor OBIS mapping
  • NILM moved to Phase 2 - Future scope

03 CRM Integration - Now Ready in Phase 1

✓ CRM Integration Ready

Based on HPL's feedback, CRM integration APIs are now included in Phase 1. The platform will be ready to connect with DISCOM CRM systems:

  • Consumer data sync between MDM and DISCOM CRM (Salesforce, SAP CRM, etc.)
  • Service requests from consumer app flow into DISCOM's ticketing system
  • Consumer profile bi-directional sync capability
  • Each DISCOM has different billing/CRM systems - dedicated integration team per DISCOM
CRM Integration Scenario Status Approach
DISCOM has no CRM Phase 1 MDM handles all consumer data - no integration needed
DISCOM has CRM - standard API Phase 1 REST API ready for integration
DISCOM wants custom CRM connector Phase 1 Per-DISCOM configuration during deployment

Note: Each DISCOM has different billing and CRM systems. The platform provides standard APIs and a dedicated integration team will configure per-DISCOM connectors during deployment.
